So loved.

Two months ago I got married in Vancouver. One week after that I got into my car with my husband and we drove across USA to end up in a small town, Ontario. I was a little hesitant, as I was leaving everything I knew only to start all over. Well it's been great so far – skype, facebook, e-mail and texting has allowed me to keep in touch with my friends from home. (thank you technology) A couple from my church in Vancouver came to visit their son who was near here and they went way out of their way to come visit me ! My husband's church has a great group of young people and the girls my age have a bible study one morning a week and they have all been so amazing to me. And to top it all off I just got a job quite similar to the one I had in Vancouver, a legal secretary. The Lord has been so good to me through the move - I am so thankful.

Then, yesterday, four ladies from the church came over for coffee and brought me a beautiful "yo-yo" quilt that they made for me as a wedding present. (See picture below) Two or three ladies that worked on it as well couldn't make it for coffee – but these ladies came and we had a great time chatting. The quilt is so intricate I can't imagine how many hours were put into it, I felt so loved.

Everyone has been so extremely welcoming it has been amazing. Thank you Sarnia !

  1. So glad that the Lord has helped you to feel loved and welcome in your new home town and assembly :)

The blanket the ladies there gave you is just GORGEOUS and just imagine the hours put into making it for you ...

May you both continue to be blessed together and be a blessing to those who cross your paths, for HIS glory!
